So it begins. Another footie season as Morton drew Ayr in the Scottish Cup. Mighty Morton won it in 1922. It could happen again.
I saw Ayr in the Cup back in '77 or '80 in Edinburgh when Georgie Best was too hungover to make it to the game for Hibs. When we left early in a blow-out some Ayr git threw a whisky bottle from the stands that missed faither's heed by an inch. Class.
Look right! Jings! Crivvens!! Sae help ma bob!!! The michty men have revived the blue tartan strip. Must feed ma wee problem. Must have. 39 quid. Hmmm. Maybe a subscription to the programme, tae.

No - I will not buy jerseys with bad beer advertised upon them.

Honest Men? SCUM more like. I hope you gub them big style. Whilst abhorring sectarianism, a little bit of neighbourhood rivalry is perfectly acceptable. Long may they continue to have "Won fuck all and never will!"

I take it Ayr is to Killie what St Mirren (<i>pttuie!!!</i>) is to Morton.
