"More maps! More maaaaaps!!!", you cry.
Through the wonders of the internet, I chat here and elsewhere with others some of whom I had met and knew but no better now and others who I may never meet. Today, I realized after a quick visit to mapquest how close I am to the locale or a couple PEI pals roots across the big river in the North Country of NY. Hans has Ogdensburg and Heuveton connections. Craig may visit Stillwater next year and that would place him within a hour and a half of me - and that is including two slow ferry rides. I likely can see the spot he has been talking about from the roof of my building.

To clarify, my dad is from Ogdensburg, my grandmother was originally from Ogden Island and Waddington area (near-ish Cornwall) but taught school in Heuvelton. Some of my cousins used to live in Gouverneur and some other relatives reside in Morristown, right across the St. Lawrence from Brockville. Ogdensburg is only an hour south of Ottawa via Prescott and is easily reached from PEI in a day's drive. I've never been to Stillwater and it seems to be just of reach of my North Country connections, possibly because it is in another county. I do enjoy learning more snippets about the area via your forays (electronic and otherwise) southward.

I clearly needed to speak of the neo-nationalist expansionist's dream of a Greater Heuvelton in my post above.

It's tomorrow in Australia. Your ISP is in Canberra, Australia. How can you catch up to me when you are in the future? That is freakier that that freakishly enlarged yam.
