Looks like we are going for a day-trip this weekend to get our fill of spiedies, white hots, Dinosaur ribs, Millbrook Cabernet Franc, Palmer Gewurztraminer, and Cornell chicken at Baker's Chicken Coop - apparently it is opperated by the family of Dr. Robert C. Baker, the originator of the Cornell Recipe. We'll probably pop, too, but it might be soda as Syracuse is pretty close to the line. Last year we missed the New York State Fair but not this year. Can't miss the hop exhibit:
Hop Exhibit - history & up-to-date information on "Hop Culture" - Agricultural Museum sponsored by Meyers Campers.I hope they have pamphlets. There's even the Rooster Crowing Contest at the Poultry Barn and Rick Springfield plays twice Saturday. Who could resist that?

It appears that the Dinasaur BBQ booth serves soda and not pop.

Fair tip: If you get tired, the Coliseum is a great place to sit down and bring your food and eat. On Saturday afternoon there will be little miniature horses pulling gussied-up ladies in little carts.
You can also see a full-scale replica of the Oval Office (Horticulture Building, I think).
Do not miss the Dairy Building!

Excellent. I was hoping to smoke out tips. Any foods other than I mentioned?

Ah, the beauty:<blockquote class="smalltext">"The pig is like an advertisement," Morgan said. The sight of the dead animal circling round and round as it roasts draws people in for a meal, he said.</blockquote>
