He was diagnosed in 2005, after a lung collapsed during a triathlon. Inoperable and terminal.

Looks like the polls are stabilizing.

And so you most likely will continue to have Stephen Harper to kick around, Alan.

But wow, that last week got crazy.

The polls show 65% support in the Prairies leaving unguaranteed Tory seats wide open.

Reduced Tory minority on the horizon.

David Janes -

If the NDP do some sort of stellar showing (I don't think they have the organization to make this happen on election day, but it could happen) we could see an NDP lead NDP-Liberal coalition within the year, and another election within a year after that - after the Liberals let it fall a part to take a run at it with a new leader.

Could be. Unless Rae is the new Grit leader and Jack[!] retires.
