Graphic representations of data are the best thing ever. And this BBC modified bar chart of the alternatives for the British Parliament is a great example. I had no idea how exactly messy it had turned out and how important the LibDems efforts to find common ground with the Tories really were. Do you really want Plaid Cymru holding the balance of power?

I am amused that there is all this talk of a coalition with the Libs getting Cabinet seats...Cameron should give PMSH a call for pointer on how to govern by pure intimidation. Brown is certainly no stronger a leader than Iggy.

The only possible stable coalition in this parliament is Cameron and Clegg.
The proposed coalition of Labour, the Lib Dems, and the various nationalists would be hilarious -- December 2008 levels of hilarity.
But yes, Cameron would be best advised to take a page out of Harper's book and govern alone. Because it's his best option, he has no doubt already dismissed it out of hand.

On second thought... do I really want the SNP and Plaid Cymru holding the balance of power?
Damn straight. That would be _twice_ as much fun as the December 2008 Canadian parliamentary crisis -- _two_ parties of traitors having their way.
Coalition now! Coalition now! Coalition now!

Not traitors. Just not all that interested.
