OK, I have UK Right of Abode and could get a passport but I am in a dip as far as my interest in current things UK goes. Except Doctor Who I suppose. Someone somewhere has earned a bun and a cup of tea on the profits from my money that has ended up in the UK from Doctor Who DVD, magazine, book and other junk purposes. I also have about 40 UK soccer jerseys. None now fit. But I do love an election so I need to know... should I care about the 2010 UK general election? Here is what I know:
- Labour gets the Doctor Who vote because the actor who played the tenth Doctor says so.
- Labour has been in too long. There is a stale date for every government and this one is a bit crusty.
- Labour is anti-hoodie and has contributed greatly to the surveillance society.
- Labour made a last ditch hypocritical nod to good beer.
There must be far more important factors like character, law and fiscal policy. But I just don't follow things UK like I have in periods in the past. What to do? What's that you say? Pay attention and learn something for once in my life? I suppose I might do that but I am, after all, a blogger.

Cheer for the Lib-Dems. Let some other poor country deal with hung parliaments... Might give our crew ideas, as the UK tends to dispose of those with two elections in a year. See 1910 & 1974.

"There must be far more important factors like character, law and fiscal policy" - it as always will be about the economy (stupid). Labour have guided us through the recession well. The Tories would use unemployment as they always do when money is tight and bung more money to their paymasters
