• Who else could grease out Kanye West to the point the guy is weepy by asking "what would you mother have thought?" and still look like you were a nice guy doing a service to the nation?
• Seinfeld was a little tight but at least he was a good first guest at the non-sofa. New chairs are needed. Those chairs were too slippy and slouchy.
• People don't really care that he is not as mean or absurd or faux topical as other talk show hosts. People want a regular relationship, not worn out irony.
• The car wash song was not good.

Sure, maybe this is the comedy of the sports fan, the tired parent and the loyal if irritated person getting though the recession. I want it to succeed so I expect to will it to succeed. I am just happy it is on before my bedtime.
