So we got the needle. We qualify for the early line up and the system worked pretty well though we did hit a rather sweet lull in the wait times. "Will we feel the pinch for long?" we ask. Pause. "You'll feel it, alright." I have a super noogie while others can't lift the arm over their head. Sorta feel flu-ey, too. Let the anti-virus crackpots celebrate. And now, apparently, our overlords can't promise supply. 'Magine that.
- So AJ Burnett had the game of his career and pulled his curve back over the back corner of the plate over and over and over. So what? Big deal. I don't care.
- Big election to our south, south-east, east and east-north-east next Tuesday with a three way race in a district that has been Republican since the 1850s.The Tiger taunts me on Facebook as he still seems to think Sarah Palin and her sort are placed somewhere this side of wingnut - thought they may kill the district if they win. That seems to be 87% of what's going on at Facebook. I was more interested to note that so called "conservative" candidate Doug Hoffman's URL looks like "dough off man" to me. I say "so called" as that seems to be secret code for "memememe" and "I have never done anything in the public realm".
- Apparently, the press gallery of PEI just found out it's 2004 and is having a little tizzy fit over blogging with perhaps expected posturing resulting.
- When radio is on the TV it ain't apparently pretty.
- Speaking of our overlords, apparently they don't know how to burn spreadsheets on to a disk.
- Your very own Royals may well thing there is no good youth outreach programs without that spicy hint of the risk of death. Excellent. You first, Andy.
Gotta go. Gotta get more sleep before I wake up. I love that about being a grown up. No I don't.

Hoffman's going to win.
Live with it, Alan.
Or are you willing to up your bet to a cool 100 quatloos?
Alan - October 30, 2009 10:18 am
I think Hoffman has peaked at 3-5% behind the Democrat (who is not, apparently, a Democrat... meaning that conservatives will have split the right and given the centre another seat.
No poll shows him leading. Can you see the fruitnut cake from where you are?
200 Quatloos!!!

"Do you believe in miracles? YES!"
500 Quatloos. Or one beer.

I may go over for the evening. Apparently the Dems and Hoffman parties in the east of the district are in neighbouring bars.

I think more Royals should do inherently risky things. You first Andy indeed!

Do, do.
Give us photos of the festivities!
