For some reason I stayed up to watch the Philadelphia Eagles lose. I wasn't even paying attention but it seemed important to me so I gave in and let me have my way. I blame Halloween candy. Occam's law as well because they are based on the principle that "entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem," right? Tiny little things that in themselves are a nothing but which prove that 0 + 0 = 1.

Time is like Halloween candy. We can now apparently say that Oprah is like the Berlin Wall. Time shaves away detail. Things that are not alike seem alike as they have become so unlike themselves. To the point that on the 20th anniversary of the end of tyranny, Google is still celebrating Sesame Street's 40th.
