Acrid. A bit of vinegar. A bit of dirt. Hotel coffee makes you want to get up and out the door early to find another cup of coffee. At least there is no milk powder. Seems like they took the powder, added water and put it into little creamer tubs. Tastes the same. A bigger surprise was finding out the hotel wifi was not free. What is it with Canadian hotels? No free wifi and no free buffet breakfast. Where is the sausage gravy and biscuits? Not that I ever have it but I like to know that I could.
The train was pretty good but no wifi. I have never used train wifi but had my heart set on it. I am all now about looking for the wifi it seems. So 2004. Hint: window seat on VIA means access to the electricity. I had no idea I lived in a two tiered world. I was a second class citizen until Oshawa when the nice lady next to me hit the streets.

Oh the choppy availability of wi-fi on the Via.. Makes me crazy. I used to use it as a backup excuse (though never needed) for not doing work on the train on the way back from TO when I left early. Now I just get angry that I cannot access my email or play youtube with my iPod Touch. Well, at least you get it SOMEdays and its free until they get it working properly.

I was quite shocked with the default network setting allowing me to see all the other laptops hooked up to the train's system.
