This stuff really is wonderful. I have a big dvd collection too, but haven't added to it for while - may need to get back to it!

As for borrowing dvds, we've been getting lots out of the library, particularly every "Prime Suspect" and "Foyle's War" that we can get our hands on. "Jewel In The Crown" should be available soon...

I wish I had kept that DW scarf I made in Grade 10... Taught myself to knit only to complete one large and two smaller scarves, then checked off the box marked "Made Scarf" in my mind and gave up the hobby.

I am working my way through the E-Space trilogy these past weeks with Boy #2. Tons of extras but oddly no Tom Baker commentary this time around, which is sad because he is hilarious. Looking forward to the July releases. I am not buying any of the first two docs, mainly focussing on Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker and Peter Davidson. The rest I only ever grap if on massive sale on Amazon at Xmas time.

The Baker commentaries all seem like he has a jug of gin and tonic on the table as they make their comments.

I am buying a number of these on vhs. The Terror of the Zygons, for example, is not even on DVD. Generally they can be had delivered for around ten to twelve bucks but there are, of course, no extras.

Which ones are on July release?

My error. Its Colin Baker's "Attack of the Cybermen" in July. I pre-ordered it at the same time as pre-ordering the September Tom Baker releases "Image of the Fendahl" ( a favorite) and the "Deadly Assasin" and just mixed up the dates.

A good place to track releases:

I haven't the heart to yet look at Doctors 6-8.

Even though I have been watching the recent post-McCoy NEW seasons, I don't wish to own them. They are entertaining, just not really MY Doctor Who. Though the spinoff Torchwood is very very good, though not kid-friendly.
