Being a fan of a former great team in a far off country can be difficult. Difficult to get the information, difficult to explain to yourself why this is necessary. But once in a while there are little glimmers of hope that persuade you that there is a point. Today was one such moment as I checked the results for the weekend only to find that the Morton, which had dallied around the bottom most of the year, was now in fourth. Jings! Apparently they won an extra game last Tuesday and continued their ways with their ninth tie of the year on Saturday. That is a 33.333% tie rate. No one ties like the Greenock Morton ties. If getting a draw were winning, Morton would be champions every year.
But it's not. So they don't.

Seriously?
Seanie - two words: not yet.
Follow-up words:
Bragging about ManU in a post about Morton is like bragging about the Yankees in a post about the Watertown Wizards.

Not to mention following Man U is like following the moon. It pretty much comes around given the opportunity.

And Alan, further congrats on the excellent "0" Goal Differential.

You know what that means. It means they have not let in more than they have scored! Wooot!!!
