It's flying. This summer is flying. Five months to New Years Even and I still haven't learned that much banjo. Work gets in the way of the banjo. Kids get in the way of my banjo. How am I ever going to get to practice enough on the banjo if time keeps lying and I have all this other stuff I have to do?
- Rear Guard Update: Sarnia to moon the balloon.
- "Big Papi is a big cheat"??? That is just so sad. Not telling the boy. And, yes, lets see the whole list.
- Harper suggests democracy bad for business... or something like that.
- Canadian wine isn't.
- Remember how back around 1996 and again in 2003 people thought the internet would create a new understanding of law?
- One billion folk use Firefox? So was Bill right or wrong?
- Reporters sad that Obama kegger excluded them. Did they really want to hear Joe and Barry banter about whose brand was better?
That's it. Late and needing to go.

Banjo help via Facebook and a classmate I haven't seen since 1981. This internet thing might work out.

Re an election -- whatev. If Iggy wants to go, let's go -- the Liberals will enter it up by a point or two, which is about where they entered the last one at. (34-32 Dion over Harper, if I remember right.)
Re reporters not being at the beerfest -- who wants them there anyway? "Teachable moment" just means "Barack said something dumb, so let's redirect the conversation to generalities". Obama recovered well and looked classy for bringing Crowley to the White House for a pint.

I'm missing the shot-put thing. Banjo seems, well, kinda girly in comparison. I was hoping for a Renee/Alan put off on the playing fields of Queens. With the traditional ten foot lead accorded to the fairer sex my bet would be sh'e kick your butt.
Meanwhile, elections are good. Lots of elections. Can Iggy hold it together for 60 days? Can the Lying Jackal stay out of the news that long? Can Harper crack a smile which looks real.
I liked the "having a beer" thing. You just have to bet that Biden heard about it and, like a moth to a candle, cried "free beer, I am so there". But what I really liked was that 0 and Joe took their jackets off. If you are going to solve race relations in America over a beer you need to be jacket free.
