Not the greatest photo of my TV this morning at about 7:40 am - click for bigger - but I was in a state of shock at the silliness of the glasses on the man being interviewed as a news source. Sure, it was just a Jack Michaelson interview on CBS's The Early Show... but (admittedly speaking of appearances) shouldn't there be a limit to the silliness of the glasses and other accessories people can wear and expect to be taken the slightest bit seriously? Just for the record the white framed gems had sort of paisley pattern or tear drop shaped hot pink lenses to match his tie.

I blame Bono.
