Odd that I have to be somewhere...now. It's early but I'm late. I know this is no tragedy and certainly I used to have to be speaking to matters first thing but I wish this morning I lived in Pittsburgh. Not because of the win but because they seem to understand when a two hour delay is very well placed. One of the most exciting endings to a championship game ever. Springsteen was good and the choice of playing "Glory Days" added a note of cheery irony that worked well. Even though I wasn't glued to my TV and had to get across town mid-game, I was happy I watched. I can't get over how much Roethlisberger looks like Will Ferrell when he has his helmet on. I expect him to do something really stupid. I am not the deepest of NFL fans, I guess.

Dude, I thought glory days misplaced. A song about a dude lamenting his life and former glories? NOt so good for a game played by young men.
But then, I never really took to THe Boss. The Vandals? Si. Springsteen? Ehhh.(shakes hand in the so-so-fashion).

Ry! I liked the irony of a bazillion glory days guys watching the ultimate glory day having that song sung to them. It was like an anthem to couch potatoes with a million man choir of couch potoatoes.
