Some last minute IP work at my good pals the server masters has left me wondering what would happen if these blogs disappeared and I had 48 hours to save some stuff. What would I save? Would it be a relief to see much of it fall of the edge? In a way it would be. As it stands now, I am not sure if this will be around or accessible come Friday and it is in a way nice to imagine the yoke being lifted after more than five years.
Well, as it turns out the beer blog text is getting 100% manual back up as is the Tantrama series, The Shadow Cabinet posts as well as a few bigger posts like the great December 2006 trans fat debate. But so much of the rest is just daily fluff. And if that is so, why does Hans make me do this morning after morning?

Um, okay, maybe it's becuase Hans is actually one of your multiple personas, who comes in and makes you do mean horrible nasty things like tell us how horrible(horrible I tell you) Hortons is, only to leave you holding the bag for it afterwards?
I mean, it worked for a John Lithgow flick. (Just, please, don't tell me you dress up as a homicidal woman, Al. That would be too much.)
