The Orange are gone before I even remembered that we were into March Madness. I didn't even do my picks! Darn job!

If, as Sandra Buckley says, Harper's law suit is about defending himself and his family then she shouldn't be the spokesperson. WTF does his family have to do with any of it and why is she commenting on that? Invoking/pimping his family is exactly what got Mulroney into trouble and the family values crowd of politicians should be careful about using their families for political purposes. It can cut both ways. Say what you will about former PEI premier Binns: he had enough sense/class to leave his family out of his political persona and the world was not a worse place for not knowing about it.

I do say what I like about him for the most part but that is true about not rolling out the "royal family", something that is a bit offensive for the most part. I do not care what little Johnny looks like. Harper for the most part avoids it, too, except that stuff about watching his kids hockey making some supposed impression that he is as pure a Canadian guy as there is. Show me him after sucking back a half case of Molsons watching HNIC, then I'll believe it.
