I am renewed. Plenty of house repairs and family get togethers were missed over the weekend with the new toy to play with. There are a few new tricks to indenting and other XHTML still to learn but all in all it is a heck of a lot easier to play with and also to personalize. The photo above is but one example. Note the secret messages in the photo. Sums it all up really. Like the cousin you never kept up with but thought of kindly from time to time but, honestly, never well enough to call, this space appears to have its own path laid out before it. Away we go.

I'm getting really bad page loading times - like 20+ seconds. So slow that my favorite page monitoring tool can't measure it.

That is a known issue from what my server mate says. Its way faster than Saturday. It'll be there.

Where are the old rotating tag lines? I love those.
And what's with the new photo? I'm not sure I like it. Is it a metaphor? Are you the life guard of the blogosphere presiding over all the other juveniles flailing about in the shallow waters of irrelevance?

Smarty pants! Of course that is it.
The rotating slogans did not survive the restructuring. I liked some of them but so many lost meaning to me. Like the one about needing more bran. What was that about?
