The British have proposed a new module for the International Space Station:
Their idea is for Britain to build and launch two modules that greatly enhance living conditions on the platform. The Habitation Extension Modules would increase meeting and bunk space; and allow the UK to fly some dedicated science experiments.Great acronym - HEMs. Nothing like being hemming in. And they have even introduced the design to the left below. I would suggest the one to the right is one whose time has come. Full mockup here with the toggle on the real NASA-style slow loading feature switched to "ON".

I think they should stick with the design on the right - a lot more room inside !

It looks like a keg that has been left in the sun too long. I wonder if when you open it, this specially patented widget fills the module with C02 for that Just Like Draft In Space feel.
