While I am the sort of guy who will be required at the auld kirk at suppertime on the 24th watching the kid's choir when other more sensible people are gazing at the dripping roast or wrapping the final parcels with a glass of oloroso nearby, I am aware that there are many who will not be occupied by any point on the Christmas / Xmas scale for reasons personal to congregational to even geo-political. And these are hard times for many with likely harder times to come. Yet, the season is what it is - giggly. So are you or aren't you? With a week and a day to Christmas Eve, are you all sugar plummy?

I am officially all sugar plummy. I even put lights up, and NOT just on the deck, without being directed to do so. I'm taking the day off Friday to shop (that IS early for me, very early) and have been renting old Xmas movies for weeks now. I highly recommend Christmas in Connecticut.

Very Christmassy here in completely secular, consumerist, family-oriented kind of way.

Humbug.
No lights, no tree, no presents. Although I did get a root canal today...

Come On, Renee! You don't need the trimmings to get in the spirit! Why, even the Grinch's heart grew 2 sizes when the Whos of Whoville invited him to their Christmas party!

Thats right Renee! Do I not remember you putting a great big red robbon and bow around your home last year? You need rum and a hug. Damian, egg nog for the little lady, chop chop.
