You have to like this guy. He decides he is going after a child killer - and he gets him:
Asked about the fugitive's condition, Mr. Robinson, a trapper and wilderness guide, would only say: "He's a hurting unit." Friends have said Mr. Robinson took it upon himself to go out looking for Mr. Schoenborn. He's up there with cougar choking guy as far as I'm concerned."It makes sense that anybody with a brain would want to go looking for him," he said. "I've been guiding cougar hunters and bear hunters for 30 friggin' years. That's what I do, and trap."

He's just the kind of guy that deserves an Order of Canada and the title hero.

You gotta like his son too whose comments showed his filial pride while maintaining the integrity of his father's humility. I paraphrase but it was something like: "He may not care about the status of hero, but he's a hero to me."

Maybe the guy (girl) walking their dog might be warrant some of the kudos as well. It seems to me that if he (she) had come across a cop before Mr. Robinson the headline would have read "Mounties Get Their Man".
