What a game. And what an interview:
...I haven't been right all year round. But I guess, you know, when you don't feel good and you still get hits, that's when you know you are a bad man.And the Yankees lost, too. It's all good.

DOn't make me ankle bite you, Al. Just don't.
K-Eod has not been the K-Rod of yore. I wonder if it's 'cause he was a 'roidhead. HE doesn't have the massive acne he did two years ago or when he was stellar in the WS. Major acne is a symptom of 'roid usage(see, I go after everyone, heck I'll throw Troy Glaus, Tim Salmon, and K-Rod under that bus. They're all suspect.).
I'm not saying Manny didn't come up big. THe big guy did. But, we'll just have to see what happens in the Big A. When the kids will be snatching foul balls from outta BoSox players gloves. I knew the game was lost when SPier gave put Lugo on. I understand the decision to go with Speir---save K-Rod for extra innings, or simply don't use him if you don't have to. But bringing in K-Rod with someone on base isn't good, imo. A guy with his delivery needs the full wind up instead of from the stretch. I just didn't think it'd be so dang dramatic(walk off hr? Suckage.)
Oh, and if Guerrero is hurt from that hbp? I wouldn't want to be Papi, Ramirez, Lowell, or Youkilis. They all would have big bull's eyes on them late if the Angels are losing. Unwritten rule of b-ball: you take out one of mine, I take out one of yours(so don't throw at mine).
And boy, did we all screw up in picking the Cubs to win the WS much less beat the DB. What were we thinking?
