In an off season that has seen expansions in foosball, badminton, croquet and skittle-like functionality, another simple sport is joining up and I finally found a source in Canada. Jumpstart Athletics of Alberta will ship shots so that we can put them. Mucho puttiania here. Woe to they that come within a few yards of me at the wrong time.
Am I the only one who didn't click to the fact that these shots are just cannon balls?
Update: I think my goal for 2007 is to beat the record for the "over 90" Canadian masters class of 6.63 metres.

Are you gonna use the 'shove' method or the 'whirling dervish'? Dervish actually gets better performance once you've mastered it, like the Fozzberry Flip in highjumping. But until you've got it down pat the shove will give you better results, like the face down methnd of high jump.
It all comes down to the efficiency of your extension. Get the energy flowing into the ball at 45degrees with little lateral or vertical bleedout and you'll get good distance. That's a lotta leg actually, though being burly won't hurt.
