My visiting sister-in-law and her daughters left Kingston a day early (Friday) to fly out of Syracuse on Saturday/ Darned good thing, too. She's been living Texas so long that she no longer has blizzard-driving skills.

Hey - there were pilots in the hotel lobby on Saturday night in Ithaca. Maybe they had to bail on their flights and could only find a room there.

I heard them say exactly that---they didn't seem too upset: nice hotel in a nice town. They had flown in but evening flights back out canceled. Their timing was perfect too, 6 pm, and the bar right right there...
