I am unaware if I should care and if I do what particular on the Tuesday? Do I lean more towards the Colts today and the Bears tomorrow? Or is this more the time for considering Super Bowls past? If these civic rituals are going to extend to longer and longer stretches, rivaling Ramadan, Advent or Yule, the least they could do is set out a schedule we should all be following.
And in other sports-govern-life news, was it not rather weird that CBC broke from its regular programming last evening just to show Key Dryden having his number retired? I am starting to think like the neo-cons neo-conspiracy nutters as there were even short flashes to Stephan Dion in the stands looking as if he was personally witnessing that event in a manger in Bethlehem. What was the CBC trying to tell me to do, to be? - keeping in mind I hated the Habs in the 1970s, all my pals being hangers on, bandwagoning coat-tailers in red. And will they also break from regular programming for the news one day that Dave Keon and the Leafs have patched it up?

The saintly neighbors have extended the invitation, fireplace, big TV, chili. Must consider contributions to the banquet, including suds. Most importantly, despite Rex Grossman, I shall wear my bears t-shirt, sweatshirt, hat(s?) and coat. Betcha a loonie, Alan, my bears win over your colts? We must consider that the dirty dog colts left Baltimore and tradition for a dome in Indiana, whereas the Bears are honorable and steeped in tradition.

My Colts? Since when are they mine?

Well, you asked yourself if it is Colts today, Bears tomorrow. Settle on the Bears, that way we can all bet ry.

I am third party on this one - Pats or Jets perhaps but I can't get involved with another NFL team emotionally.

I like 'Jets green' a great deal. A most appealing forest green color.
