Fourth round of the FA Cup in England today with a bunch of big name teams beating a bunch of littler name teams - except Blackpool, in their Holland orange, tied a much mightier team, Norwich, who play in one league higher. I think the year long tournament in which every team in the land (almost) can join in is a great idea. Why shouldn't the Watertown Wizards dream of beating the Yankees or the Bullville Belles have a hope of kicking the Leafs all over town?
In the real news, the mighty Morton ran into a "brave display" in their tie with Cowdenbeath. Morton enters February ten points up. Scottish FA Cup next Saturday when the tables will turn because it's bigboys Motherwell's turn for a thrashing at the hands of Morton.

Man U 2 - Portsmouth 1
Should have been 3-1. The chip of the keeper by Rooney was magic. Okay, any goal against David J is magic in my eyes but still.
I love the Blackpool orange jerseys.
