I think I care less today. After all it is February and next month is March and that is the month spring begings. Isn't it just too late in the season to determine the season's winner? That is one respect where the CFL makes sense. It and baseball are played within the year. There isn't much left I prefer CFL about. Those fields are looking awfully large recently. And what is it with all the punting? But that is months away. Spring training starts this month.

I never understood the 2 week break before the SuperBowl. It dissipates all the momentum and makes the season seem like 16 years ago.

In what other sport is there a rest before the championship. This should be the end of the grueling road. Two words: Doug Gilmour.

I agree that there shouldn't be a break, but I don't think this is too late in the season. And don't forget the ProBowl, for the ultimate anticlimax!

I think they tried a one week break a couple of years ago, and reverted. My guesses are: give the 2 competing cities a chance to.....what, buy tickets and hotel rooms? But you would guess those sold out long before. Then maybe it is simply greed: try to build anticipation and millions in ad revenues.
Jaysus, the Bruins lost hugely to Buffalo....

I always liked the exclamation "Jaysus", especially in combination with the words "Fer de luv o'".
