I was wondering what I might look forward to yakking about as this blog moves towards its sixth year of existence and, whammo, I just realized that there will be a US election to follow for the next ten and a half months. Not that I have a say in the matter but it will allow me to follow the ever excellent work of The Votemaster over at electoral-vote.com. In 2004 and again in 2006, I was entirely engrossed with the work of this guy in Holland and his compilation of polling data at all levels but I hadn't checked the site for years. But now I have so now I know that Thompson is leading in Alabama but running fifth in Michigan. And knowledge is power...even if sometimes you are unclear as to where the outlet is exactly.
