Good to see Moises Alou in the Mets uniform tonight. He has cemented my satisfaction that one should have both a favorite American League team and a National League team. Why? Better chance of having former Expos to root for. Also usually provides you with something to watch when Boston is playing Tampa.

I have not been alive for thirty years.
Guaranteed Hall of famer? Surely he should be given consideration.

Are we looking at the Yanks twilight and the ascendency of the more modest Mets? Interesting to note that both Wllie Randolf the manager and Minaya the general manager are from Brooklyn and Queens, very much hometown guys. There is satisfaction in the local boys made good and come home to make the team a champ.

Great plays at the plate last night with a squeeze failing and an out at home from a throw all the way from centerfield. Alou also made a great catch and was left in late in the game when it looked like he might be pulled for some fresh legs. WFAN 660 am carries the games for those of you in north-eastern North America.
