Not to be an utter crank who can't spell today, but shouldn't major sports teams have their own separate jersey designs? This picture from the English Premiership is rather CFL circa 1994, a la Shreveport Pirates v. Las Vegas Posse, no?

Some help with the spelling of things.

The European football teams' finances appear to depend much more on mundane things like the sale of replica jerseys (and probably more lucratively, the company logo displayed centrally on each jersey). Unlike in the NFL or MLB, where a team will happily wear the same uniform for decades, most Premier League teams modify their uniforms every season. AND they all appear to have more than just "home" and "away" strip as well.
With that many redesigns, you're bound to have more iterations which look, um, what's the word I'm looking for? "CFL-ish" isn't quite it . . .

They all look great though if you put "Vennegoor of Hesselink" on the back.
