Unibroue rules! I discovered their Fin du Mond, my favorite, on a trip to Montreal awhile back and am also partial at Raftman (made with whiskey malt). Our advertising director demands I inform him each time I make a trip to Montreal, and puts in an order for Maudite and Blanche de Chambly. All of Unibroue's products are available cold or not in most Montreal-area supermarkets...uh, supermarches. And the guy pays well.
SU, I'm afraid, will not be a-bowling, again this year. South Florida and Connecticut are winnable, but not locks. Louisville and Rutgers will be losses, so it all might hinge on Cincinati....not a good prospect.

I meant, of course, C-i-n-c-i-n-n-a-t-i. Two n's, not two t's (and especially not one of each, as I had it).

Hey T-Bo. I think if you were to check at the Party Source in Syracuse or the Galeville Grocery in Galeville or Finger Lake Beverages in Ithaca you might find Unibroue beers nearer than Montreal, though every gas station in Quebec has the stuff. Check my reviews of these shops here. I would also suggest you try the Ommegang beers. Ommegang itself is very comparable to Maudit and Hennepin is unlike anything Unibroue makes, a saison. Along with Allagash of Maine, Unibroue and Ommegang are the three great NE North American Belgian-style brewers.

They're also available at Green Hills in Nedrow, the funkiest little big grocery store I've ever been to (try the Reuben pizza!)....but I like to travel, and bring back souvenirs.
