Syracuse played a tough game against a VERY good Louisville team. They never had a chance, but played like they could win.

I am pleased to say that I almost swung a place in a box seat. I can't say how but it would have been sweet and I took a rain cheque. Instead...I snoozed. What is wrong with that? I saved the environment for us all by not burning a tank of gas and, well, snoozing is green. Anyway, a great 28-13 loss if such a thing is possible.

Carney had a pretty good game with only 3 yards lost to 4 kickoffs as well as a 51 yard punt. And he got a reference in the Post-Standard story. Here are this week's stats:
