North Korea immediately rejected the resolution, and its UN ambassador walked out of the council chamber after accusing its members of a "gangster-like" action which neglects the nuclear threat posed by the United States. Ambassador Pak Gil Yon said North Korea wants talks but warned that it will consider increased U.S. pressure a declaration of war.I think the day will soon be upon us that cheese on toast, walking in the park and writing on this blog will be considered a declaration of war to the Elvis impersonators of Pyongyang.
Gangsta!

Yes- but I can't decide whether the Bobby Lee impersonator is independently nutty or whether he is being played by the US for some other alterior motive (i.e. can't have Big Defense without a reliable source of fresh and varied threats).
If China can build an ipod nano for US$19 then surely they can redirect Noth K's nuclear ambition. Unless of course Raytheon starts outsourcing the manufacture of its missile defense componentry (rumoured to be about half as complicated as an ipod).... Hmmm....
Given the US threat to blockade shipments of luxury items into NK (cognac, St. Augur, champagne and St. Emillion Grand Cru) perhaps it is the French who must step in, calm the waters and allow their industry to forge on.
