Punk. You have to give advance notice of these things. You're staring at my office tower, we could have gone to lunch or something. Geez. =)

So, Chris, the series wasn't exactly the way we figured it. I just read that the Cards had the worst regular season record of any team to ever win the series. On the other hand, when had the Tigers last hosted a winning season, 1990? Cool year in baseball I think.

Sorry, Chris - it was a birthday for someone else who I sleep with more than you. Next time. But on the upside, apparently I mooned you at 8:53 am this morning.

Actually I don't show up until 9:30, so you got some of my colleagues. We're the farthest black building, so it would be hard to make out even the largest full moon at that range. Did you like 1 King West (i.e. would you stay there again)? It's pretty recent as hotel real estate goes, and it certainly looks swanky on the outside.

Gary, I am a little disappointed in the Tigers at having folded in five -- but not extremely so. Even if the Tigers' bats didn't show up for the last few games, they had a good run. The Cards had a rough ride for most of the postseason, so every bit of that Big Win was deserved. It was a good, interesting Series.

I would definitely go there again. I have to check on Expedia to see what we paid (I thought it was maybe $200 all in but the receipt from the hotel said more like $145) but inside the finishings were very nice and the staff professional. The Cambridge Suites around the corner has larger rooms but this week were looking for $250, which is beyond my Toronto price. I want only a few blocks walk from Union Station and so far this is the cheapest. The best parking is still the one at Cambridge of Richmond, however.<p>Best of all, they pass on their flat rate for the telephone. I called Kingston for a few minutes and the bill was 17 cents.

I too am curious about the accommodation at 1 King W. Long have I stared at it longingly. As it were.

My captcha password for this post was "aarrgh". I think I feel a disturbance in the force.

Mine is "pymjzm" which is "almost pajamas", which is a characterization of my inadvertent state described above. That is freaky.

Okay, Chris and others: are we looking at an Indianapolis vs. Chicgo Bears super bowl? Shivers of delight and anticipation.....

gorthos -

No to the Bears in my books.

the colts play the pats this week. it could be a watershed moment for their chances of getting to the Superbowl.

After last night's amazing performance I think it will be another great game.
