I think CM is keeping track so just for the record I finally got what the kids have. There was a story on the TV news that something around 50% of the kids in school have been hit with this one. I know the elementary school of our choice is running on a very limited population. But spring is just around the corner...

Coincidentally, I'm sick myself. I'm blaming the weather.

Having spent the weekend with my eldest being sick and last night with the youngest running a fever, I envy your ability to stay home. I'm just worn out. I'll be dropping soon.

Take the Scottish cure Alan--a wee sip or three of whisky! It does miracles for me, and if it doesn't, I no longer care if I am sick. If you are home sick, laptop in hand, we expect you to guide some interesting and amusing conversations.

I actually PREFER you when you're sick.
Sniff.

I have no idea what any of that means.

Good idea, GR. I was going to boil the kettle and just have hot water, but no reason why I can't toss a wee dram in the cup as well. It is after 11, after all.

Heck, as the expression goes, it is after 5 somewhere in the world, in this case, do as the Scots are no doubt doing now--taking a healthful shot or 2 at the end of the day.
