Yes, it's a school bus next to a fire
No big grand tours this summer - just a CNY hop and then a New England lay around. Going to new places like Brattleboro, VT for a night which allows us to find Curtis BBQ just up the road in Putney. I am receiving some resistence familially as to the...err...decor (as illustrated above) but I am confident in my choices in life and I fully believe Curtis will provide me something back which I lost learning yesterday of the end of Ralph's Ribs in Ithaca. We try, we learn, we grow - this is the lesson of BBQ.

OK, Alan, we got it covered. There is the Latchis Hotel and Windham brewpub, listed above. Great place in a great downtown. On the Putney Rd by the bridge over the West River is a clean looking bar-b-q joint. No sense straining family relations over ribs.

Fear not the bus and firey pit. Roadfood says it is the best BBQ east of Cleveland and north of Washington.

Silly me. Bar-b-q ribs and rats are much more important than a happy marriage.

No one can find fault with that notion.

"it's a schoolbus next to a fire" - then what's the problem, it's not a wooden schoolbus is it? it's not a pinto!
