I used the telestrator to illustrate the flooding at Gary's folks place east of Cortland NY. Quite illustrative if you ask me. He reports:
I have had it with the rains, which are forecast to continue till Monday, and am glad to be home. Serious evacuations to the south and east, including Cooperstown. Here is an NCRP audio story on the flooding.

Whoa, masterful job, Alan. I am reminded of the pioneer of such doodles, the football coach and TV commentator John Madden. I am sure that there would always be a well paying job for you as a sports commentator, or weather guy.

Go for weather guy. It's a less seasonal job. Ha!

Man, I'm feelin' for the Genx40 nationer that's in the photo. I live on a flood plain too and all the stuff that's rocking the NE came thru here as well(but we didn't flood).
Telestration: Better than Madden. ANd no over use of 'boom' either.(Thumbs up)

"Telestrater" is one of the greatest word inventions of the 20th century.

I am the telestratron. If I was female I might be the telestratrix.

(looks thru cummulation of stuff I never throw away. Nope. No sand bags to send.). Good luck to you gr. I heard that the biggest threat in NY state crested about 7' below the flood wall this morning. Take care, and I hope your sump pump is working as it was intended.
