Home.
- You know what is neat? Going into a brew pub you really like and wrote about over a year ago and finding that very review up on the wall in the hallway to the bathrooms, that's what neat is.
- Some doubts as to whether I'd bother going to the Tiki hotel in Lake George NY again but it is nice to walk through a state park from your hotel to the beach so it is not a certainty. They were still all going on about Humblebub getting kicked out around '69. That was odd.
- The Doubletree in Burlington Vermont is excellent.
- The four-hour drive northwest from Lake George, NY to Alex' Bay, NY is an excellent one.
- I now have a bottle of BBQ hot sauce from St. Alban's, Vermont.
And please. Everyone cannot play trombone and mandolin. I cannot emphasize that enough.

No! We can pick up tambourine players on the day - the streets are full of them. Euphoniums, man...we need euphoniums...and sousaphones. And get ye to the junk shop to find a decent set of tails.

Much as I hate to give up the tambourine, I have to admit I've always wanted to be a euphoniumist.

Looking around the internet it appears I have acquired a Holton TR602 back when I picked up the banjo. I need a 12C mouthpiece but may cheat and go to a bigger bore.
