Apparently any one of Emily Dickinson's poems can be sung to the tune of The Yellow Rose of Texas.

Anything can be sung to "The Yellow Rose of Texas" which is why the suits picked it for the audition. My personal preference goes for my extremely loud and operatic version of Euclid's Elements. It takes more than a few hours but I find it is worth it.

i'm phoning mine in - surry with the fringe on top.

sung to the tune of the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald of course.

Marian and I are working on a routine and hope that we pass the audition. We are completing an interpretive dance and singing routine based on the greatest hits of Queen. Bohemian Rhapsody, and many of the rest! Had I not shaved my rather large mustache, I would be Freddy Mercury's twin brother, so perhaps I better start growing it anew, for an authentic touch. David Janes, we need a choreographer and lead dancer, you up for it? We will rock you!

Marian -

Yeah, Alan. Umm, wait a minute.

Greatness calls, Marian! Portland, how about drums and background vocals? CM, how about maracas and tambourine?
DJ hasn't returned my calls....anybody know who his agent is? Hopefully Mixmaster Flea will handle the, um, electronic parts, promotion too.

Oh! ::claps hands in glee:: Maracas! And tambourine! How could I say no?

Question is, what do we wear? I mean, tights? Little t-shirts? Uck. Maybe not.

Jeans and spit, baby, jeans and spit. :-)
