Best debate in a long time and largely due to the intelligent control imposed by Steve Paikin. If Paikin were to debate any of the four he would wins hands down. I think all four had a good showing in the context of the debate. They had their moments and made their points. That means nothing really changes in the election.

Yes, I definitely felt that we were in the presence of somebody who has many percocious children and is used to guiding the dinner-table discussions while still managing to chew his food and reach for seconds before they're all gone. An extremely worthwhile talent. I, for one, would much rather we just put the candidates in a very small meeting room with a locked door but a constant supply of hot coffee. Whoever emerges alive wins the election.
