I forgot how fun it is to make fun of a new government. The trouble with the last crew is that they stuck around so long making the jokes stale. Real stale. So it is great, in this first change of Canadian government of the history of the blogosphere, it is nice to see folks working out the new quips for both sides - even when some fall flat. My contribution, our rural overlords, has been picked up by Jay who shows you can use it for both for mocking the perceived and pointing out actual shortcomings to come. Handy and dandy and a way to make sure you break out of the echo chamber of those who only agree with your pre-conceptions. This can lead you to being found among quite diverse company.
Which is all a round about way that I am extremely jealous of certain parties who are going to a certain party tomorrow night 240 km to the west in the heart of darkness. Oh, to hoist and barb. But I have my somewhat sober but quite fascinating bloggy event next Tuesday that I think I can't tell you about so fair is fair.

we got too much money and too much pitching for it not to happen. they need a center fielder. remember that marte (sp) is the big chip. this isn't the blue jays. i'm mean i'm a sox fan but even i find the amount of handwringing around here a little nuts; don;t kid yourself, they get they they want in the end, second only to the yankees.

Coco. It's like realizing that Santa may not be getting you the blue pony after all. All I can think of is actually pulling off a deal that replaces Damon at five years younger.

I'm going to give my 'solibs' one more chance.

That is a waste. Try another one. Life just works out sometimes that "socon" works better than "solib".
