Prediction:

Fascists: 129
Crooks: 67
Communists: 51
Traitors: 59

Gordo -

I'm throwing my faith behind the Election Prediction Project. With an accuracy rate averaging 87.72% over nine elections, they certainly have a better handle on things than I do.
They're predicting:
188 Tories
104 Liberals
29 NDP
56 Bloq
1 Independent

As a past NDP member, I'd say an increase in 10 seats (52.6%) is nothing to gripe about. Of course, I'd like nothing more than to see a Green seat or two as well.

The accuracy of the above leaves something to be desired. There are too many seats in that parliament I tells ya!

Marian -

I think a majority is in the cards for the Tories too simply because most are voting conservative while thinking that others will vote Liberal. Those others will be doing the same, however.

I posted this at Jim Elve's e-Blog on 28 November. Not much chance of being right now...
Last time my prediction was masterful, pure genius so you might want to get the packing label for the fabulous gifts and prize ready now. This time I call it this way:

Liberals: 114
Conservatives: 92
Bloc Quebecois: 61
New Democrats: 40
Green Party: 1
Independents: 0

This allows for the fall 2006 election option, BTW.

I say we just get rid of parliament altogether and assign me Supreme Ruler of the Universe and Empress of India. I'd do a great job, and I've got that wave down pat.

Ben (The Tiger in Exile) -

I made my predictions in public, too:

Liberals -- 110
Conservatives -- 105
Bloc -- 60
NDP -- 33

Unless -- was Stephen Harper waiting for the campaign season to unleash his new sunny side? (Haven't watched it yet -- shall do so momentarily...)

If so, then I may revise my predictions. Till then, though, I think Martin has one last rabbit in his hat.

We'll see what the outcome is, tonight...

Oh, and God save the Queen-Empress! (The 105th anniversary of her death was yesterday, don't you know.)

Take a look at this election results analysis tool described on this site:

To the Queen-Empress!

Which one?

Alan -

I don't know - but it is odd reading and seeing bad things on the internet this evening. Quite the event.

I was surprised about the results in the Maritimes. That's all I say.

Alan -

You keep me out of jail, Arthur, and that will be fine.

Arthur -

Less than a half hour to go... Then we can end the self-censoring, no?
