Funny how the yapping classes jump all over the Europeans when news like the UN oil-for-food stuff points fingers in their direction. But why are the same folk not as outraged at the news coming from Australia's oil-for-food inquiry that that great pal of those whose pals are great is mired in the mess as well?

I think the usual line is 'Yeah, but he's "our" <strike>mean dog</strike>, <strike>insane dictator</strike> corrupt beaurecrat.'
I'm shocked that with that much money sloshing about for the taking that there weren't sticky fingers from every nation in the pot...
