After that unholy of unholies - the 9:00 am Saturday meeting - we are off to the North Country of New York for a couple of days. Off to see the St. Lawrence v. Yale game in Canton at the Appleton Arena and then off to loverly Oswego to see if we can find some snow. Real snow. The kind of snow that goes up to at least your knees. The North Country has snow belts like no body else. If you flew as the crow does you would cross over Tug Hill (home of the Golden Maple Shanty and amazing views) which gets more snow than anyplace in eastern North America - 25 feet on average apparently.
And what are we going to do with that snow? Flop in it. Flopping is like napping, an under utilized activity (or UAA). I think we need to create an Institute of UAA Studies - the IUS. A think tank to foster the increase in the production of unproductivity. Deproduction. Right after we create the Acronym Improvement Foundation...or IAF.
