I got a great email from Donna in Winnipeg, a fine hyber-blogger, this morning about CKDU, Dalhousie's (of Halifax NS's) radio station where me and my buddy Rob did the show Bob The Dog from 1981 to 1983:
...I wanted to let you know that CKDU is finally going high power tomorrow, Valentine's Day, with a relaunch special from 88.1 FM at 7 p.m. AST (that's 6 p.m. your time). 97.5 will die earlier that day. I plan to listen online if I can from my desk in Winnipeg. The special is being hosted by Nick Barrington -- aka. Doug Taylor, who's been there for as long as the station's been around -- and a gaggle of programmers. I believe they're encouraging former CKDUers to call in and give some shouts-out.Me? A shout-out? Do you have to wear a hoodie as one does a shout-out? I am all a flutter.
Listen to CKDU here.
