This is the last post from the old GX40 HQ as I am about to pack up the computer and move it over there about five miles away over in that direction. It moves along with the 1995 Pentium 75 I started surfing on, then yapping at other blogs on, then blogging here and then the beer blog. I did not think I would get verklempt - there is still other moving to be done and the rest of the month before we move. But the telephone company will have its way and the communications worm hole shifts later today. So goodbye golf course that watered during the blackout of '03, goodbye view of the USA, goodbye view of Napanee exploding in a nuclear fireball and goodbye nylon factory with the Jesus light behind it. We are off to life on ground level.
The normal broadcasting schedule will resume later today when technical difficulties are overcome...or when I check in from work in a few minutes.

Hey, maybe you trade to view for a bar-b-q pit. Good deal!

THE view. Sheesh. I should start previewing, like cm.

Speaking of BBQ, a sign by Bath Road says we are getting one of these - allegedly authentic BBQ. This will make either for one big disappointment or many evenings well spent.

Let's hope it's many evenings well spent. Although I do like gr's idea of having your own bbq pit.

Here at Casa GR, monster bar-b-qs are planned today AND tomorrow----this is dictated by the sudden avalanche of CORN, and of course, Pork Slap Ale was on special this week. C'mon over cm and Alan around 6:30, we've got lotsa that stuff and veggie burgers too!

And just like that I am in the new HQ. I actually have a shack in this place, a little 8 by 8 room that is in a corner of the basement, not unlike a ham radio operator's dream. Now all I need are the QSL cards. That is what blogs need. Little reception report cards you get in the mail when you confirm you have actually received a blog reception. And the trinkets, like pamphlets on the new and improved way or pennants. This would be mine:
