Weird, that article is also in Mclean's. But Mclean's is owned by Rogers; the Globe and Mail is owned Bell Globemedia.

I wonder if we'll be seeing more articles by Jennifer Ditchburn in the near future? I thought selling the same article to different outlets was a media no-no.

Wow. Thank makes it super-double freaky. But you when, when I read this in the news...<blockquote class="smalltext">Says blogger Steven Janke of Angry in the Great White North: "Any women's group that does not subscribe to a 'woman as the victim' view is likely to leave empty-handed if it were to ask for funding."</blockquote>...it comes across like when one fourteen year-old says to another "You know Billy in math class? I hate him". Nothing against Steven (who I do not know) but nothing for him either. He likely had that point of view in 1988 and 1997. And he is, like me, a nobody in this regard.

Thanks for the plug Alan. Here's another.

My blog, by the way, IS NEWS, at least according to me. I try to be family friendly (ha ha ha! but my mom may be looking) and focus on making art. Informational.
Big nods to two masters of blogging though, Alan, of course, and master Flea, who has the whole dj thing down to a science. And I really liked his link to the Dead Can Dance cover last week, and passed it around. Both of you guys are pretty cool, and good role models.

Alan -

I may be cool but the Flea is DY-NO-MITE.

Holy crap - JJ Walker lives! Thanks for the link Alan, looks like everyone on my Christmas list is gettin' an autographed glossy 8X10 of the kid himself. For only $5 that is cooler than Kelvin.

Is it 5 o'clock yet?

3:26, 0r 4:26 over in PEI, and cm, I have HAD IT. Done enough. (PLUG: check the blog! it shows what I did today, and so much MORE!) I sit in a chair all day but the back feels like I was cutting down trees and carrying them on my shoulders. Time for that cold one, some fantastico kettle chips, and burritos.

You must have meant to write "Katch".

David, you'll notice that under Ditchburn's name, it says Canadian Press. It's not only a boring article, it's wire copy. Bleah.
