It's still a week off for me and I have some real important tasks ahead of me:
- Arrange ale and lager acquisitions in preparation for stories at A Good Beer Blog.
- Tune banjo, guitar and ukuleles to piano.
- Read a bit about baseball.
- Nap.
- Do taxes.
- Start running the stairs a bit so the first game of soccer will not be so scary.
- Daydream about Chicky's Fine Diner. I didn't even take photos at Chicky's. What kind of blogger was I, I was asked. I ask that myself. The onion rings cast a shadow for God's sake.

Poor Alan ... Hey, I steeled my heart and followed your advice on trimming my grapes on the weekend. It's a tad later than I would have liked, but I stanched the sap bleeding with pruning wax. I'm not quite done, but most of them have been mercilessly chopped back to large vines. They needed a renewal, so here we go!
Thanks for getting my to-do list kicked-started.
