...of wondering what the hell I am going to write about, of waiting for the coffee before I bother to check the spelling (if even then), of asking myself why I bother with thinking about politics, of no knowing who the hell you 2871 people/widget who visited 6723 times yesterday are, of not having a clue about the business model behind spam, of thinking of all the languages I would know now if I did not write on this thing, of liking and hating this habit, of stuff...just stuff.

Yeah, I think of all the things I might accomplish if I weren't doing this, but then I remember being at a football training camp on a hot summer day, standing around with a bunch of other sports reporter types.
Willard Reaves ran past, wearing only athletic shorts - a magnificent athlete with a body that was in almost every way perfect, a body that Michaelangelo might have sculpted. I sighed and said to the guy beside me "God, I would kill to have a body like that."
He grunted and said "Yeah, sounds great. But I'd say it would take you about a month to run it into the ground, huh?"
The fact that we CAN do something doesn't mean we WOULD. We do what we do ...
... and you do this exceedingly well.

An Ode To Modesty (!)
Talking of successful rackets,
Modesty deserves a mention:
Exclamation marks in brackets
Never fail to draw attention.
