Well, congratulations, Alan. Even though it's awfully suspect when the person who comes up with the questions, comes up with each question's value, and decides who wins each question (those that were subjective at least) is the overall winner. But I won't gripe about it, even though I think my haiku is just as unintelligible as Hans'. Suppose I shouldn't complain, though, since Nantz didn't really come close to being hit on the head by anything (pray as we all might).
Thanks for putting on The Best March Madness Contest Bar None. And congratulations. Seriously.

But I followed the rules on the 1978 era "City of Damascus" brand sports pool board game box exactly?

Congrats Al and thanks for hosting a pool this year. Not to take away from your victory, but I think we all sucked. Or maybe the results were wierd this year. Or maybe the pool was rigged from the start!!! (D'oh! I told myself I wouldn't bring that up: must plot revenge quietly...) Finally, though, I must defend myself: I do no resemble any brians that I am aware of. Thanks again.

Alan -

I think everyone sucked. I heard of the thousands and thousands of people who entered the ESPN on-line pool, only 4 picked the final four. Take that as some comfort as we each consider the state of our own respective brains.<p>That being said, prepare ye all for the GX40 2006 hockey playoff pool. Holy moly! I have about a week to think that up!

Congrats Alan. The pool was definitely a four way race of back bracketeers. As well, you're right about the ESPN pool. Here's one of the winners out of the 3 million who entered this year.

Scott -

I meant bad bracketeers, terrible pickers, unlikely swamis, etc., etc., etc. Ha! Ha!
